NEW DELHI: Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has secured a 1415 kW solar rooftop project order from the Vijayawada Division (BZA) of South Central Railway, further strengthening its presence in India’s public infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
The project involves the installation of rooftop solar systems across railway infrastructure under the Vijayawada Division, supporting Indian Railways’ broader push toward clean energy adoption and sustainable operations.
The latest order reinforces Servotech’s growing engagement with government-backed renewable energy initiatives and its expanding role in supporting the decarbonisation goals of public sector infrastructure projects.
The company said the solar rooftop installation is expected to contribute to energy efficiency, reduce dependence on conventional power sources, and help lower carbon emissions within railway operations. The project aligns with Indian Railways’ long-term strategy to increase renewable energy capacity and move toward greener transportation infrastructure.
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., which operates in the solar energy and EV charging solutions segment, has been actively expanding its footprint across renewable energy projects, including solar installations, charging infrastructure, and energy-efficient solutions for institutional and public sector clients.
The order also highlights increasing investments in rooftop solar projects across government infrastructure as India accelerates its clean energy transition and renewable capacity expansion targets.
With Indian Railways emerging as one of the country’s key adopters of sustainable energy technologies, companies involved in solar engineering and renewable infrastructure are witnessing growing opportunities in the sector.
