NEW DELHI: Mercedes-Benz India has reported its highest-ever annual sales, retailing 19,363 new cars in FY 2025–26, marking a strong milestone for the luxury carmaker in the country. The growth was largely driven by a robust 16% increase in its top-end luxury segment, reflecting rising demand for premium and high-performance vehicles.
The company’s flagship models, including the S-Class, GLS, EQS, and Maybach range, continued to witness strong traction among affluent buyers, signalling a shift towards higher-value purchases in India’s luxury car market. This surge highlights evolving consumer preferences, with customers opting for enhanced technology, exclusivity, and personalised experiences.
Mercedes-Benz also attributed its performance to an expanding product portfolio, growing electric vehicle adoption, and a stronger focus on customer-centric initiatives. The brand’s emphasis on digital retail, luxury experiences, and network expansion further contributed to sustaining demand across key markets.
The record-breaking performance underscores India’s growing importance in Mercedes-Benz’s global strategy, as the country continues to emerge as a key market for luxury automotive growth.
