NEW DELHI: Suhora Technologies has unveiled a detailed satellite-based analysis of the recent flash floods in Dharali, Uttarkashi, providing critical insights into the extent of damage in the affected region. The assessment, conducted using high-resolution imagery and advanced geospatial tools, maps the destruction of infrastructure, agricultural land, and natural ecosystems caused by the disaster.
According to the report, the flash floods—triggered by intense rainfall and glacial melt—have significantly impacted road connectivity, disrupted local livelihoods, and posed long-term challenges for rehabilitation.
